Gold and silver bars weighing from 1g to 100g may not always bear individual serial numbers, yet they are accompanied by an Assay Certificate, which is securely housed in a transparent plastic casing alongside the gold bar. In contrast, larger bullion bars are individually crafted, imprinted with a distinct serial number, and furnished with their own Assay Certificate. Bullion coins, on the other hand, lack serial numbers and are distributed as such by World Mints. Be assured that we procure all our bullion items directly from reputable Mints or Refiners, ensuring the provision of solely genuine and original bullion products at all times.
Cash payments up to a limit of AED 20,000 are permissible for bullion acquisitions at our office. Customers must furnish acceptable identification documents to validate their personal identity and address, along with evidence of funds, prior to the release of any confirmed order. If you opt to settle your bullion purchase through cash at our office, kindly contact us directly after placing your order to ensure your account is appropriately noted and to clarify the procedure with you.
Gold coins and gold bars represent distinct avenues for investing in physical gold or silver, each with its own set of characteristics.
Gold coins, typically smaller in size, are minted by either governmental or private entities. They often command a premium above the intrinsic value of gold due to factors like historical significance or collectible appeal, which can elevate their price. Frequently sought for numismatic purposes or serving as legal tender bullions, gold coins embody both monetary and historical value.
Conversely, gold bars are larger in dimension and are predominantly crafted by refiners. Composed of pure gold and standardized in shape and size, they offer convenience in storage and transportation. Generally, gold bars carry lower premiums compared to gold coins, as they lack the historical or collectible allure of the latter.
In essence, the price of gold coins hinges on variables such as rarity, age, condition, and historical importance, factors that can augment their worth beyond the intrinsic value of the gold they contain.
